Lois A. Bonnoront

July 20, 1940 — May 17, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lois A. Pease Bonnoront, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and talented artist, who peacefully departed this life on May 17, 2024, at the age of 83.

Lois was born on July 20, 1940, in Butler, Pennsylvania. Her early years were marked by a profound love for the arts, which she nurtured throughout her life. Lois pursued her passion for oil painting, creating works of art that captured the beauty of the world around her.

Lois met the love of her life, David Bonnoront, at Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. The couple married in 1961 and embarked on a remarkable journey together, sharing 64 years of love and companionship.

An avid gardener, Lois found joy in tending to her flowers and plants. Her garden was a testament to her love for nature, a place where she could express her artistic talents in another form. She also loved traveling with Dave, exploring new places which enriched her life and inspired her artwork.

Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Helen Pease; and her siblings, David Pease, Roger Pease, Lori Callahan.

Lois is survived by her loving husband, David Bonnoront; her daughters, Kim B. Rogers (Robert) and Heather L. Hardy (Troy); her grandchildren, Bethany Hardy, Kelsey Jackson (Caleb), Rob Rogers (Leah) Heather Kanzlemar (Stephen); great grandchildren, Analiyah, Ezekiel, Keziah, Hazel, Adelyn, and Emery; and her siblings, Gerald Pease (Shari), and Johnny Pease.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Ohio Bird Sanctuary at https://ohiobirdsanctuary-bloom.kindful.com/. Lois loved birds almost as much as her family.

The family will have a celebration of life in July, at her home in Liberty Township, Ohio.
Lois's spirit, artistic talent, and deep love for her family will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but forever cherished.
