Robert Lee Allen

Robert Lee Allen, beloved son of the late Hershel T. Allen and Freda M. Allen (Miller), born on November 1, 1949, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, at the age of 68.

Mr. Allen served his country as a United States Marine.

He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his son, Robert L. Allen, II (Sheena), his daughter, Sarah L. Allen (Duken Abney), and his grandchildren: Noah, Isaac, Lee, Sinjin, Kiera, Robbie, Elijah, Vincent, and Peyton.  He is also survived by his siblings, Carl Allen, Ruth Ann Cox (Jack), Karen Smith, Kenny Allen (Loretta), Connie Warner (Richard), Nancy Akers, Mary Cheesbro, and Tracy Allen - and many nieces and nephews, their spouses, and children.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Hershel T. Allen, Jr., his sister, Gertrude Allen, and his sister-in-law, Rosemary Allen.

His life will be celebrated at a memorial service to be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., at the Hodapp Funeral Home, located at 7401 Vine Street in Carthage, Ohio.
