Troy C. Russell, born in Portsmouth, OH, Died Sunday, 21, 2021 at age 90.
He was the beloved uncle, but more a 2nd father to Leila (Randy) Kline (nee Russell) of Cincinnati, OH. Though he was great uncle to Christian (Marie) Kline of Cincinnati, OH & Reid (Alex) Kline of Louisville, KY and great, great uncle to Finley & Corbin of Cincinnati, OH they all called him PaPa & an outstanding PaPa he was to them!
He was also uncle to Sharmila Ruparel of OH, Dev (Bev) Ruparel of KY & Daniel (Mary) Ruparel of Colorado, and many great nieces, great nephews and great, great nieces and great, great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his best pal, his 13 year old black lab Cap (by 2 days), & his siblings (spouses): Identical twin Roy (Betty) B. Russell, Marie (Madhu) Ruparel, Albert Russell, Earl Russell, Ernie (Mildred) Russell & Ella (Jasper) Slone.
He is a Navy veteran from the Korean War and got to sail around the Mediterranean twice. He graduated from The University of Kentucky as a Geologist, then worked for The Kentucky State Highway Department until he retired. He loved his dog, Captain, his family, his friends & his farm.
