CONOVER-BAKER, Alexa C. (nee Barnhisel), died Saturday, December 27, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Conover and James W. Baker, Jr. Loving step-mother of Jay W. (Marchell) and Jack W. (Angelique) Baker. Also survived by step-grandchildren Corissa Hanson, Chantell, Celeste, Brandon, Matthew and Felicia Baker and step-great-grandson Brody Hanson. Devoted aunt of Donald (Dorene) Kraft, Thelma Kraft Freeman, Charles (Betty) Foreman, Evelyn Jestice, Gayle Meyer, Gene Conover, Joanne (Jim) Williamson, Linda Conover (Compton Reeves), Leonard (Diane) Conover, Sandy (Dave) Beamer, DeeDee (Joe) Roettgers and Nancy (Tom) Whyte, dear sister-in-law Dolores Conover and brother-in-law Bob (Pat) Baker, and special cousins Virginia Durham Bray and Gary (Sandy) Baugh. A native of Lincoln Co., KY, she was a resident of Colerain Twp. for more than fifty years, recently living at Llanfair Retirement Community. She was a retired secretary and a member of Cincinnati Colony Society of Mayflower Descendants, St. Clair Chapter; Daughters of the American Colonists, Cincinnati Chapter; Daughters of the American Revolution; and First Families of Ohio.
