Alfred "Benny" Baker

BAKER, Alfred “Benny”, loving husband of Marlyn (nee Denney) Baker for 38 years. Loving and devoted father of Elizabeth Geneva Baker-McLain, Christina Verna (Trent) Nelms, and Catherine Faith Baker. Adoring Pappaw of John, Geneva, Benjamin, Joy, Victoria, and Brennan. Devoted son of Verna Hoskins Baker and the late Alfred Russell Baker. Loving nephew of his dearest Aunt Berthie. Brother of Bertha (Eugene) Morris, Carol (Dennis) Glenn, Robert (Farida) Baker, Barbara Sellars, Gennifer (Ron) Porter, Penny Bohlander, Brenda Morgan Brennan, Paul Baker, and the late Charlie Baker, Mitchell Yopp, and Wanda Jones Cook. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Faithful employee of GE Evendale for 37 years. Walked through the gates of heaven on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the age of 56. Visitation at the Winton Road First Church of God, 6200 Winton Rd., Fairfield, OH 45014, Friday from 5 p.m. until the funeral service at 7 p.m. as well as a visitation Saturday at Peebles Church of God, 6346 Steam Furnace Rd., Peebles, OH 45660 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon, with graveside service immediately following at Kirker Cemetery in West Union, Ohio.
