Alma Lucille Allen, a beloved mother, cherished grandmother, and devoted friend, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2025, in her hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. Born on August 8, 1926, she lived a full life of 98 years, marked by unwavering faith, love, and a remarkable spirit.

Alma was the proud matriarch of her family, which includes her sons, James Allen (Mary Jane) and Thomas Allen (Rosie), as well as her daughters-in-law, Susan Allen and Terry Allen. She opened her heart and home to her family, but it was the joy of her grandchildren that illuminated her later years, bringing her comfort and happiness in a time when mobility became a challenge.

She enjoyed reading, particularly finding solace in her Bible, which was a cornerstone of her life. Her love for word puzzles and card games provided her great mental engagement, showcasing her playful nature. Though her physical activities diminished over time, she always cherished visits from her grandchildren. These moments were precious, filled with laughter, stories, and the warmth that only family can provide.

Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Worth Allen, and her sons, Phillip,Terry, Daniel, David, and Martin Allen. Their memories lived on in her heart as she shared stories of laughter, lessons, and love, keeping their spirits alive in the fabric of her daily life.

The world was a better place because of Alma Lucille Allen, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and devotion. She will be honored with a visitation on January 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hodapp Funeral Homes - West Chester, followed by a funeral service at noon, and a final resting place at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio, where she will be laid to rest at 1:00 PM.

Alma touched the lives of many, and her gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May the memories she created endure and bring comfort to her family as they navigate this profound loss.
