Amber Annis

May 21, 1983 — December 29, 2019

Amber Renee Annis, 36, of Lebanon OH, unexpectedly passed away December 29, 2019 due to complications of pneumonia.
She was born on May 21,1983 in Cincinnati, OH. She grew up in West Chester, Ohio and was a 2001 graduate of Lakota West High School in West Chester. Amber had always wanted to work with people or animals who needed help. She worked in the healthcare field with clients who were mentally and/or physically challenged. Amber took great pleasure in watching her patients learn new skills. She was grateful to be a part of their accomplishments. We used to tease her about becoming a cat lady because of all of the strays she rescued from various places. Everyone would call her for help because they knew she would find the best fur-ever home for the cats/kittens.
The most important person survived by Amber is her daughter, Raina Annis-Williams. This child was her life. They had so many plans for the future. Amber wanted Raina to be the very best Raina she could be.
Amber is survived by her parents, David & Deborah Annis of South Lebanon, OH; daughter, Raina Annis-Williams; sisters, Carmen (William) Reichard of Indianapolis, IN and Christina Annis of Mason, OH; nieces, Davia Annis- Gillespie, Chloe Annis-Munsch, Hannah Annis-Munsch and Isabella Annis, maternal grandparents, Jeanne Martz of WI, and Arthur Sheets of WI. And of course, many aunts, cousins, and close friends. We are stunned. Amber is so loved and will be missed by so many.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Mamaw, Nellie C. Annis and her baby sister, Amanda Leigh Annis, whom she loved dearly and missed like crazy.
The memorial for Amber R. Annis will be Saturday, January 11th, 2020 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. West Chester, Ohio 45069 at 1pm until time of service at 2. We will then gather at 83 N. Section St in South Lebanon, Ohio 45065 to honor Amber from 3:30-5pm.
Memorial donations may be made to the Go Fund Me account set up for Amber’s final arrangements. The donations will be applied towards her headstone, burial, and custody costs. She will be buried at a later date next to her sister, Amanda.
