Ann S. Jones

Ann S. Jones, 88, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in West Chester, Ohio. She was born June 9, 1927, in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, to Albert R. and Eliza H. Straight. She was a long-time resident of Mason, Ohio, a retired City of Mason employee, and attended Montgomery Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her only sibling, Sarah (John) Lacy. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Jesse L. Jones, daughter Pamela J. Whyman, and son Christopher W. Jones; grandchildren, Steven W. (Hannah) Jones, Corey A. Jones, Emma K. Jones, Lacy A. Jones, Mira Whyman, Michelle Whyman, and John Whyman.

The family expresses their gratitude to Heritagespring Nursing Home of West Chester and Hospice of Southwest Ohio for the loving care given to Ann.

Visitation is 11 am - 12 pm Thursday, March 17, 2016, at Hodapp Funeral Home (8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Road, West Chester, Ohio) and Funeral service will follow at 12 pm Thursday March 17, 2016. Burial will be held at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, Ohio.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
