Anna Harmon

HARMON, Anna (nee Worland).  Passed away Thursday, January 29, 2015, at age 97.  Beloved wife of the late Pat Harmon.  Loving mother of Mike (Fran) Harmon, Tim (Elizabeth Bookser Barkley) Harmon, Sr. Kathleen Harmon, SNDdeN, Dan (Patti Tures) Harmon, John (Eileen) Harmon, Sheila Nixon, Kevin (Lucrecia) Harmon, Peg (Jon Murphy) Harmon, Brigid (Tony Fries) Harmon, Teresa (John) Leugers and Chris (Clarissa) Harmon.  Also survived by 53 devoted grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Preceded in death by daughter-in-law Sally Thornburg Harmon.  Sister of Stephen Theodore Worland; preceded in death by 5 brothers and sisters. Mrs. Harmon was raised on a farm in Neoga, IL.  Attended the Univ. of Illinois where she met her future husband.  Long-time active member of St. James of the Valley.  After raising 11 children, she worked at Hamilton Co. Welfare Dept. and later was Director of Volunteer Services at Drake Hospital.  She graduated from the College of Mt. St. Joseph in 1996 at the age of 78.  Lived in Wyoming for 48 years and resided at Maple Knoll Village for the past 13 years.  Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6041 Hamilton Ave., Cincinnati 45224 Sunday 3-6 p.m..  Mass of Christian Burial at St. James of the Valley Church, 411 Springfield Pike, Wyoming 45215, Monday 10 a.m.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Sally Harmon Fund, West End Emergency Center, 727 Ezzard Charles Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45203
