ALBRECHT, Anna Marie of Cincinnati, died at age 95, on December 28 at the Llanfair Retirement Community while in the care of Hospice. She was born on Christmas Day, 1919 in Novinger, Missouri to Thomas Kanger and Theresa Frajte Kanger who were immigrants from Croatia. She attended Feitshans High School in Springfield, IL. She married Carl H. Albrecht Jr. of Cincinnati on January 26, 1946 at St, Barbara's Rectory, in Springfield, IL. They remained happily and faithfully married for 54 years until his death did they part in 2000. She is survived by 4 sons and 1 daughter: Carl H Albrecht iii and wife Marcia, of Charlotte, NC, Ronald Albrecht, and wife Pauletta, of Loveland, OH, Kurt Albrecht, Cincinnati, OH, Andrew Albrecht, Cincinnati, OH and Felicia Albrecht, Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren: Bronson Albrecht, Julie Albrecht Young, Francesca Varney and Jason Varney all of Cincinnati, OH. Her parents and husband preceded her as well as her 5 brothers: Adam, Anton, Andrew, Joseph and John and 2 sisters: Mary and Theresa. Numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces survive Ann. Ann married her husband, Carl, after he returned from Italy at the end of World War II and they moved to Cincinnati. Their first apartment was on Moeller Ave in Norwood. When the family grew, they moved to a new home on Greenfield Dr., Finneytown. When that nest was empty they moved to a condo on Sweetbriar Ln. in Mount Airy. Ann was a resident at Llanfair Retirement Community when she passed. Ann was a member of the Cincinnati Zoosters for many years and played bridge until her dying day. She was very active and a faithful patron of St. Vivian's and St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Churches. Donations in her memory to your local Hospice organization would be appreciated in lieu of flowers. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Little flower Church 5560 Kirby Ave. Mt.
