Arlene Frey Carrier

D. Arlene Carrier, age 94, passed away January 7, 2022. Arlene was born on June 30, 1927, in Au Gres, Michigan. Daughter of William and Sadie Frey. Arlene and her loving husband, Virgil H. Carrier lived and raised their family in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was married to her loving husband, Virgil H. Carrier for 66 years. Arlene enjoyed a 35 year career with Michigan Bell Telephone Company. Arlene and her family enjoyed spending time at their cottage on Big White Fish Lake. After retiring, Arlene and Virgil spent 24 years wintering in Nokomis, Florida. Arlene and Virgil were long term members at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan and Nokomis Presbyterian Church in Nokomis, Florida. Arlene enjoyed cooking, reading, gardening, golf and spending time with her family and many friends. Arlene is survived by her loving children: Michelle (Rick) and Michael (Jann) and by her grandchildren: Michael (Kelsey), Jason (Andrea), and Shannon (Christopher) and four great-grandchildren.
