SKIPWORTH, Barbara (nee Shero) born March 21, 1932 in Mineral Wells, TX to the late Mattie Bell Anderson and O.B. Shero. She was raised in Eastland, TX where she graduated from both high school and business college. She later married Charles T. Lucas, Jr. on July 21, 1951 and moved to Midland, TX where her only child, Debra Ann David (nee Lucas) was born. She later moved to Wichita Falls and began a successful career in real estate earning many awards. She divorced in 1968 and later married Noel Lee Skipworth on Nov. 22, 1968 and moved to Dallas, TX. In the 1980s she began working in Christian Bookstores and eventually achieved her dream of owning her own store, The Living Word, in Farmer’s Branch, TX. Shortly after Noel’s death in 2002 she moved to Monroe, OH to be near her daughter. She would pass away September 16, 2013 at age 81. She is survived by her daughter Debra (Richard) David. Memorial service to be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati.- Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH, Friday September 20, 2013 at 2 PM.
