Barbara A. Sowders

SOWDERS, Barbara Ann (nee Eysoldt) age 85, passed away on March 19, 2022. She is survived by her sister Mary Tucker (nee Edysoldt), granddaughter Kaitlyn (Vince) Rizzo (nee Bottenhorn), great-grandson Anthony Rizzo, son-in-law John Bottenhorn.
She is proceeded in death by her parents Joseph Eysoldt and Ann Eysoldt (nee Sullivan), her sister Gail Gaither (nee Eysoldt), her children Debra Bottenhorn (nee McCabe) and Scott McCabe, her husband Carlos Sowders.

Barbara grew up in Norwood and attended Norwood High School.
She has resided in Lebanon, Mason, and for the past 7 years Hawthorn Glen Senior Living in Middletown was called home.

Barbara was a generous, loving soul. Best known as Babs or Barbie. She lit up a room with her smile and giggle. A few things that she loved:
God, her family, animals, her rose-colored glasses, palm trees, Sharky's, St. Patty's Day, all Cincy sports teams, Soap Operas, Dancing with the Stars, Pepsi, coffee, LaRosa’s, minestrone soup and anything sweet.

A Celebration of Life will be held, on Saturday June 11, 2022 at 11:00am with a burial of ashes at St Mary’s Cemetery in St. Bernard, OH 701 E Ross Ave, 45217.

Two popular phrases that Our Angel Barbie always said, will stick with us forever: “Keep the Faith” and “Keep your chin up.”
