Barbara J Wohlhueter

Barbara J Wohlhueter, 87, died December 29, 2012 in West Chester OH. She was a resident of Mt Pleasant Retirement Village in Monroe OH. Born in Richmond IN on 5/20/1925 to Ralph & Ruth McLear Hodapp, she married the late John F Wohlhueter in 1945; they celebrated 61 years of marriage before his death in 2006. She was a member of St Peter Lutheran Church in Trenton OH. Survived by three daughters; Ann (Bill) Krintzline of Liberty Twp OH, Joan (Mike) Powell of West Chester OH and Rae (Mike) Maier of Ft Wright KY; seven grandchildren & seven great grandchildren. A graduate of Richmond High School, she attended Miami University, where she was a member of Delta Delta Delta Sorority. She was a homemaker, who was deeply involved in church & community activities wherever she lived. In recent years she created hundreds of baby quilts & children’s knit sweaters for those in need. Visitation will be at 1 pm on Wed, Jan 2, 2013 at the Mary Kittredge Chapel at Mt Pleasant, 225 Britton Ln, Monroe OH. Service will follow at 2 pm at same location. Interment will be at 11 am, Thurs, Jan 3, 2013, at Glen Haven Cemetery, Richmond IN. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Peter Lutheran Church, 311 N Miami St, Trenton OH 45067.
