Barbara (Bobbie) Rose Robitally, age 75, of Cincinnati Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 from illness. The daughter of Helen and August (Gus) Smith, Barbara was born on July 10, 1937 in Cincinnati Ohio. She was married to Louis P. Robitally on September 5, 1986, her second marriage. Barbara grew up in Cincinnati. She married Leonard Alfano and raised four children in Kansas. Barbara worked at the VA hospital in Topeka Kansas, moved with Louis back to her hometown Cincinnati in 1992, and continued her career at the VA hospital in Cincinnati until her retirement in 1999. Barbara enjoyed reading, sewing, cooking, thrift shopping, and QVC shopping. She was devoted to her Catholic faith. Barbara is survived by her husband Louis, children Gregory P. Alfano, John J. Alfano, Karin A. Raasch, and Philip F. Alfano, grandchildren Benjamin Alfano, Jayme Alfano, Steven Alfano, Walt Wilson, and Tyler Wilson. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister Helen Glass, and her grandson Tony Alfano. Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic church, 17 Farragut Road, Greenhills, Ohio 45218, on Monday November 12, 2012 at 11:00am. A viewing period will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at Our Lady of the Rosary church from 10:00am to 11:00am. Interment will occur immediately following the funeral service at Oak Hill Cemetery, 11200 Princeton Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio 45246.
