Bernard Joseph "Bernie." Beloved husband of Lorraine Dwyer (nee Albers). Loving father of Maureen Dwyer, Brian (Patricia) Dwyer, Mary Anne (Selden) Fritschner, Suzanne Dwyer and James Patrick Dwyer. Dear grandfather of eight and great grandfather of seven. Proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Graduate of Xavier University, 1952. Dad always enjoyed his involvement in the Special Olympic programs with his son, Jim. He passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016, at age 92.Visitation will be held Wednesday at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Cincinnati , OH 45216, from 6 PM until 8 PM. Mass of Eternal Rest will be held Thursday at St. Gabriel Church, 48 W. Sharon Rd., Cincinnati, OH at 3 PM. Burial will be held privately. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics, Hamilton Co., 4790 Red Bank Expressway, Suite 206, Cincinnati, OH 45227.
