HARGIS, Bertie Evelyn, beloved wife of the late Denton L. Hargis. Loving mother of Carroll G. Hargis and Dennie L. Hargis. Dear grandmother of Jeremy Hargis and Brandon Hargis. Dear great-grandmother of Austin, Trevor, Lily and Brenden. Sister of the late Olen and Dorothy Hargis (Louisville, KY), Ray and Vera Hargis (Stanford, KY), Roy and Mary Hargis (Louisville, KY), Luther and Agnes Hargis (Somerset, KY), Gene and Lucille Hargis (Somerset, KY), and Curtis Hargis (Somerset, KY). Daughter of the late William Carroll and Lina Ellen Hargis. Passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at the age of 85. Visitation will be held at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., (Rt. 42), West Chester, on Monday, Jan. 15 from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Salvation Army, Southwest Ohio Division, 114 East Central Pkwy, Cinti, OH 45202.
