CATES, Betty J. (nee Ellert) beloved wife of the late James E. Cates, Jr., loving mother of Judy (Bruce) Colley and Jim (Celeste) Cates, grandmother of Jamie (Chris) Dicken, Jennifer (Mark) Sodo and Joshua Colley, great grandmother of Luke and Matthew Dicken, daughter of the late Clara and Frank Ellert, Sr., sister of Robert (Jean) Ellert, the late Ruth (Bob) Schuckman, Rita (George) Wheatley and Frank Ellert, Jr., sister-in-law of Jo Ann Ellert, also survived by many nieces and nephews. Betty was a retiree from P&G. Betty passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at the age of 92. Visitation at St. Bartholomew Church, 9375 Winton Rd, 45231 on Friday, April 27th from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am. Memorials may be directed to St. Rita School for the Deaf.
