Betty Lou Redd, age 70, of Maineville, Ohio, lost her courageous battle to cancer on Sunday, January 10, 2021.
Betty was born October 28, 1950 in Vanceburg, Kentucky. She was a devoted wife of 51 years, a loving mother, proud grandmother, and friend and mentor to many. She had a long career in the hotel business, retiring in 2019. Her friends and colleagues knew her as a kind soul, and she was always able to make you laugh in all situations with her dry wit. Her faith in God was unwaivering, and she was an active member of her church. Betty loved to entertain, and her home was well known to have an appearance of a model home, with nothing out of place, and not a speck of dust to be found anywhere. She was very proud to provide her friends and family with a place to make them feel at home, and share good times with lots of laughs.
Although she was very proud of her family and friends, nobody provided more joy in her life than her four grandchildren. They were her entire world and she never missed a sporting event, school event, or any other activity of theirs.
Betty is survived by her husband, Wayne Redd, her daughters Shauna Redd and Karla (Franco) Stavale; her son, the late Ray Redd; her beloved grandsons, Jake, Jarred, Tyler, and Aiden.
At this time, a private service will be held in her honor with a larger Celebration of Life later in the year.
