Beulah “Kate” Reynolds

REYNOLDS, Beulah “Kate”, 90 years old. Preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Lytle Earnest Reynolds and her parents, Garfield and Maggie (nee Stout) Swiney and her siblings: Bertha (Bingham) Martin, Elsie (Andy) Wilson, Ray (Jean) Swiney; and sons-in-law, Stanley Elder and Ricky Schradin. Loving mother of Lonnie (Sandy) Reynolds, Earnie(Cherry) Reynolds, Hazel (Phil) Germann, Marcha Elder, Kathy Schradin, Wyvona (Ron) Hunkler.  Cherished grandmother of Lytle J. Reynolds, Michael (Rachelle) Reynolds, David Schradin, Stanley (Nicole) Elder, Heather (Kevin) Batson, Chris (Mindy) Elder, Claire (Fred) Standifer, Mandy (Jason) Lafferty, Rob Hunkler, Nick Hunkler and Lytle F. Germann. Great-grandmother of eighteen and three step-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her very dear friends Pam and Tom Thomason. 

Kate was an expert crafter and avid quilter.  During the last few years, she made quilts for all of their children and their spouses, grandchildren and their spouses, and great-grandchildren.  She also made a multitude of flannel baby quilts for family, friends and relatives.  Many an infant has a special quilt made by the hands of “Granny Kate.”

Visitation will be held Saturday, October 19, 2019, from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church, 9900 Butler Warren Line Rd., Cincinnati, OH  45241.
