Beverly D. Nelsen

NELSEN, Beverly Dawn. Born November 19, 1938, after living with Multiple Sclerosis for over 35 years, she is now walking with Jesus on July 20, 2011. loving mother of Jamie (Bill) Palmer, John (Grace) Nelsen, Becky (Keith) Brinkley and Kristen (Steve) Heller, dear grandmother of David (Julia) Nelsen, Greg (Lisa) Nelsen, Tyler and Eric Palmer, great-grandmother of Andrew and Michael Nelsen, sister-in-law of Barb Lewis, beloved daughter of the late Charles E. and Ruby Smith, sister of he late Charles G. Smith. Member of College Hill Presbyterian Church and Lee Chapel A.M.E. Volunteered at Christ Hospital for over 10 years. Graduated from Withrow High School and attended University of Cincinnati. She had a great sense of humor and excellent wit. She touched many lives and she will never be forgotten. She loved writing; she wrote articles for Beechwood monthly newsletter, recently won a 1st place state-wide writing award from AOPHA regarding her struggles with Multiple Sclerosis.
