Beverly J. Chance

Beverly, J., Age 74 of Monroe, OH, passed away at Hospice Butler-Warren County peaceably after a long battle with cancer, with family at her bedside on November 12, 2016. Bev was born March 12, 1942 in Covington, KY. She was a graduate of Colerain HS. She was retired from the Lakota School Dist. where she had been employed for 25 years. She loved to travel to the Great Smoky Mts. and Put-In-Bay, OH. She also loved working with her friends as a volunteer at the Monroe Lending Library. Bev was preceded in death by her parents Clarence William and Mary Lucille (Iseral) Klump. Bev is survived by her husband Gerald (Jerry) Chance, daughter Vicki (John) Wilson, son Brian (Bryanne) Miller, sisters Carol Ann (Bob) Brisbin, and Marion Atkinson. Step daughters Diana Chance and Karen (Tom) Zawacki, step-son Mark (Sandy) Chance. Grandsons include Kieran Wilson, and Riley Miller. Also survived by eight step-grandchildren and four step- great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Tuesday (11/15) at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044 from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, send donations in her name to Hospice of Butler-Warren County, American Cancer Society, Monroe Lending Library, or Shiners Hospital- Lexington, KY.
