Beverly Lyon

LYON, Beverly A. (nee Kostrubanic). Beloved wife of the late Daniel R. Lyon. Preceded in death by her parent’s, Michael and Leona Kostrubanic. Loving mother of Chris (Susan) Lyon and Tammi (Rex) Johnson; cherished grandmother of Austin, Neil, and Ryan; dear sister of Robert (Nancy) Kostubanic; and sister-in-law to the late Diane (Arthur) Woods. She is also survived by many nieces. Beverly was a lifelong teacher who retired from Lakota West in 2002. There she also coached the Girls Golf Team from 1988-2002 and was inducted to the Lakota West Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. In 1998, she received the Ohio High School Golf Coaches Association Award from Ohio State. Beverly and her husband also were very active and big supporters of the Cincinnati Vintage Base Ball Club. She passed away on December 15, 2002 at the age of 77. Visitation will take place at the Rest Haven Memorial Park Mausoleum 10209 Plainfield Rd, Blue Ash on Wednesday, December 21st from 1pm until the Funeral Service at 2pm.
