Carson, Bonnie P. (nee Paulina), beloved wife of the late Arthur P. Carson. Dear mother of Sandra (Larry) Boggs, Kathleen (Justin Raisor) Silcox, Randy (Jackie), Greg (Peg), and the late Steve Carson. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Sister of Emily Guerry and Logan Cheek. Passed away Friday, December 2, 2011 at the age of 88. Visitation at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42), West Chester, Tuesday, Dec. 6th from 11 a.m. until the funeral service at 1 p.m. Bonnie Carson was an early pioneer in the nursing home industry. She and her husband Art began operating Bonnie’s Nursing Home in Sharonville, Ohio in 1959. They moved to Pisgah, Ohio in 1964. Bonnie’s Nursing Home was a 24 bed nursing home on Cincinnati-Columbus Road and expanded a few years later to 40 beds. Bonnie was a very caring person, probably one of the few who was the owner, administrator and a nurse’s aide. She retired in 1986, and the business was continued on until 1993.
