Bonnie Phillips (nee Deskins)

Bonnie Phillips (Deskins), 78, of Colerain Township, died Tuesday Dec 7, 2021 at home after a 3 year battle with Cancer. She was born February 23, 1943 in Matewan, WV to the late Gordon and Fallie Deskins.  She is survived by her husband of 57 years of devoted marriage to Pearless (Perky) Phillips; daughter Tammy (Paul) Ventura, and son Carson (Anita) Phillips; eight grandchildren (her chickadees), that she loved dearly, Jacob (Allysia), Anthony, Erika and Sophia Ventura, Lindsey, Carson, Kylee and Summer Phillips, all of Cincinnati; siblings late Tuffy Jack, Gordon Jean, surviving Elizabeth, Alma, Judy and Spurgeon of Martinsville, VA. Bonnie waitressed at the Cheyenne Social Club for almost 20 years, then spent her later 20 years of employment at Beckman Adult Center.  She enjoyed friends, gardening, reading and the beach; but mostly cooking meals and spending time with her family.
