Brenda Sue Absher, 75, passed peacefully in her sleep August 3, 2018.
Sue was born in Columbia, KY, and grew up in Columbus, IN. She graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in 1962, where she was crowned Miss Lindsey Wilson. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Kentucky University and shortly thereafter moved to Louisville.
Sue worked as an accountant and bookkeeper. In recent years she participated in Bible Study classes at Southeast Christian Church. Her family was everything to her.
Survivors include her children, Elise Lawson McEachern, Lance Dudley (Tonya) and Callie Dudley Hodapp (David); four grandchildren, Ross and Jenna McEachern, Abby and Louie Hodapp. Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 6:30 PM at St. Clare Church, 1443 Cedar Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, 45224. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to Lindsey Wilson College, 210 Lindsey Wilson St., Columbia, KY 42728 in memory of Brenda Sue Absher.
