Carol L. Neidhart

September 18, 1953 — February 10, 2022

Neidhart, Carol L., age 68, walked through the heavenly gates on February 10, 2022 at VITAS Inpatient Hospice, Hamilton, Ohio, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Carol was born in Mount Vernon, Ohio on September 18, 1953. She graduated from Mount Vernon High School in 1971 and then went on to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology from Miami University in 1975. She began what would become a very prosperous career in Pharmaceutical Sales with Ciba-Giegy in 1976. She retired from Novartis Pharmaceuticals in 2012.

Carol had a beautiful soul. Her warm demeanor was infectious and her laugh, a comfort to the ear. She offered a level of optimism that was honest, heartfelt and spilled over into all that she did. When recently asked what she felt to be her life’s biggest accomplishment, her response was “being a good friend.” Carol had a very large circle of friends, all of whom she loved very much. They were her family. She truly was a shining light and lived life to the fullest. She loved traveling the world with friends, going to Cabo San Lucas, MX for vacation and playing golf.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clair E. Neidhart and Merry E (Burke) Neidhart. While she was never married and had no children, she is survived by many loving friends. Among those include her childhood friend Ruthie Johnson and her three children, as well as longtime friend Sandie Donatelli and her two children. Someone as special as Carol will never be forgotten. She will remain in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will take place at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044 on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 4-7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made online to VITAS.
