BROWN, Carolyn S., was born February 8, 1949, in Glendale, OH. She was the third daughter of her parents Stanley and Inis Brown of Woodlawn, OH, followed by one brother. She graduated from Princeton High School in 1967. She received her Bachelor of Social Work from The Ohio State University in January of 1972 and went on to earn a Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Louisville in 1977. She began her career as a social worker at The University of Cincinnati Hospital for four years before moving on to practice clinical social work for 28 years with The Veterans Administration where she retired in 2009. She is survived by her two sisters Linda Roalofs and Ruth Hayes, and one brother David Brown. She is also survived by 4 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew. Also survived by her Golden Retriever "Shane." Passed away Sunday, October 11, 2015, at the age of 66. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home, 7401 Vine St., Carthage, Saturday from 10 a.m. until funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Greater Cincinnati, 6120 S. Gilmore Rd., #206, Fairfield, OH 45014.
