GARY, Catherine Wood passed away on March 21, 2015. Catherine was born on August 3, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Norman Clyde and Annie Maude Wood of Burlington, NC. Catherine attended Meridith College in NC. She had a career in hospitality management for more than 15 years, was a business owner with her late husband, Lonnie Gary, and worked in home health care management before moving to Ohio in 1999. Catherine was active in both civic groups and her church, Faith Community United Methodist. Catherine is survived by her 5 children, Catherine Mills of Travelers Rest, SC; Ray Patton, Jr. of Fountain Inn, SC; Penny Lewis of Atlanta, GA; Connie Maniscalco of Potomac Falls, VA and Bonnie Knock of Liberty Township, OH. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Ray Patton, III of Greenville, SC; Robin Swaney of Atlanta, GA; Kimberly Bundren of Graham, NC; Brian Mills of Greenville, SC; Rachel and Jacob Knock of Liberty Township, OH. and 6 great grandchildren. We will all miss her so much and remember her with so much love! Visitation will be at 10:00am with the service following at 11:00 on Saturday March 28th at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Road Liberty Township, OH 45044. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Faith Community United Methodist Church, 8230 Cox Road West Chester, OH 45069.
