Cecilia Weil

Cecilia E. “Eal” age 94, passed away peacefully Friday, May 31at Evergreen Retirement Community. Beloved daughter of the late Henry and Anna Weil, loving sister of Roslyn Abel and the late Henry Weil and Elizabeth Weigand. Loving aunt of Gerry (Barb) Weil, Jan (Demetrios) Julius, Nancy Forte’, Don (Linda) Weigand, Max Abel, Gretchen (Thomas) Whaley and loving great aunt of Ryan (Katie) Weigand, Keith (Emily) Weigand, Gerry (Amy) Weil, Kathy (Mark) Kargl, Tony Julius and Ari Julius. Ceil is survived by 10 loving great-great nieces and nephews. Ceil was born in Corryville and later moved to North College Hill until finally residing at Evergreen Retirement Community. She worked until retirement for the Kroger Co. She enjoyed golf, bowling, cards, traveling and belonged to several senior groups. She volunteered at Good Samaritan Hospital and the Aronoff Center for many years. Memorial Visitation at St. Margaret Mary Church 1830 W. Galbraith Rd. N.C.H. Thursday from 9:30 AM until Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. Memorials may be directed to Crossroads Hospice.
