Charlene E. Patton (formerly Dowdle, formerly Birckbichler) b. 1940, died peacefully in her sleep on May 12, 2019.
Charlene was preceded in death by her parents, Louise Back Hays and Grover Patton, by her brother Johnnie (Ann), and son Thomas Jeffrey Dowdle (Karen); and is grieved by son Michael Dowdle and Grandsons Nicholas Dowdle and Jacob Dowdle. Services will be held at the family’s convenience. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
