Charles Edgar Detherage, beloved husband of 49 years to Charlotte A. Detherage (nee McGuire). Loving father of Joy (Serafin) Jovet. Caring grandfather of Alexis and Isaac Jovet. Brother of Donald (Shirley) Detherage; James (Jennifer) Detherage; Mary (Charles) Bishop; Anna (late Donald) Harper; Stella Detherage. Deceased siblings; Harvey Detherage; William Detherage; John Paul “Pete” Detherage; Carol Campbell; Fred Detherage. Charles served as a volunteer fireman for West Chester Twp. for many years. He worked at Stearns and Foster and retired from B.A.E. Passed away February 12, 2022, at the age of 76. Visitation will be held Friday, February 18, 2022, at Hodapp Funeral Home 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd. (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund or The Springdale Nazarene Church.
