Charles L. Schmutte

SCHMUTTE, Charles L. Beloved husband of the late Mary Joan Schmutte (nee Trueblood), loving father of Susan “Lynn” (Jim) Thompson, Steve Schmutte, Gayle (Jim) Leonard and the late Laura Schmutte, dear grandfather of Gabriel, Lauren, Taylor, Shane, Grant, Drew, James and Stephen, great-grandfather of Jaylin, Violet and Diana, brother of Joseph, Helen Schell and the late Jack, Frank, Bill, Dorothy Whyde and Sam. Charles served in the US Navy in Korea and quarterbacked at the University of Nevada and Cathedral High School in Indianapolis, IN. Passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014, age 83.
