Claire Mae Young

YOUNG, Claire (nee Gregg), born Apr. 20, 1919, died Dec. 24, 2015.  Survived by 4 daughters Lou Ann (Tony) Giedlinski, Shirley (Phil) Foss, Sandy Keith and Karen (Larry) Saupe; 1 stepdaughter Paula (Laddie) Mayberry; 7 grandchildren; 1 step-granddaughter; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.  Claire was employed in the Public Information Office at the Univ. of Cincinnati for approximately 40 years and was a faithful member of Wilson Memorial Presbyterian Church in St. Bernard, OH.  Claire was an avid fan of UC sports, attended Broadway Series plays, traveled to all 50 states, sang solos at her church and loved all family events--especially the Gregg Family Reunion.    She will be truly missed by friends and family.  A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Wilson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 4805 Sullivan Ave., St. Bernard.  Immediately afterward, there will be a luncheon at the St. Bernard City Hall.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Claire's church in her memory, Matthew 25 Ministries or a charity of your choice.
