Claire Rumpke

RUMPKE Claire (nee Cordes) Nov.15, 1917- July 13, 2011. Preceded in death by her husband Barney Rumpke and her son Thomas Rumpke and her daughter and son-in-law Judi and Jerry Apking. Survived by her children Mary (Tom) Rumpke, Dianne (John) Brinck and Bernard (Jennifer) Rumpke. Also survived by sixteen grandchildren Todd (Sonia) Rumpke, Matt Rumpke, Mark (Kim) Rumpke, Missy (Brian) Krieger, Tina (Glenn) Mitcham, Keri Apking and Mitch Wilson, Andy (Shawna) Apking, John(Michelle) Brinck, Kris (Kip) Sturgill, Melinda (John) Ecenrode, Sara (Matt) Thompson, Ben (Jill) Brinck, Josh Brinck, Nadine Rumpke, Nicole (Matt) Crossin and B.J. (Amanda) Rumpke and thirty-eight great grandchildren. Sister of the late Ruth Zimmer, Annette Mouch, Bernard Cordes and Margaret Klein. Passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Age 93 years. Visitation will take place at Queen of Peace Church, 2550 Millville Ave., Millville, Ohio Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. followed immediately by Mass of Christian Burial. Mrs. Rumpke was formerly an active member of St. Charles Borromeo Church, Girl Scouts, Roger Bacon, OLA, St. Charles PTA, Madonna Alter Society, and former president of the Carthage Civic League.
