Colyer, Clarence Edward “Red”, loving husband of the late Wadad Mary “Woody” Colyer (nee Karam). Beloved partner of Gertraud Trevis. Caring father of Kirk (Sandy) Colyer, Jeffrey (Laura) Colyer, Donna Colyer, Jeanine (Steve) Hanna, Charles (Kellie) Colyer, Keith (Diane) Colyer, Jeanie Holzbecher, Don (Colleen) Trevis, Jimmy Trevis. Grandfather of Kirk Jr., Brandon, Logan, Lindsay, Jessica, Jeana, Jeffrey, Steven Jr., Ryan, Ashley, Nicole, Kristen, Allie, Olivia, Keith Jr., Elisa and Dillon. Also survived by 8 great grandchildren. Brother of Ruby Gallenstien, Orville Colyer, Harry Colyer and Joe Colyer. Passed away June 25, 2012, age 82. Red was a veteran of the Korean War and the United States Air Force. He was the founder of C. Colyer and Sons Truck Service. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 27th from 5 PM until 8 PM at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd (Rt. 42), West Chester, 45069. The funeral procession will assemble at the funeral home on Thursday at 8:45 AM and leave at 9 AM. All friends and truckers are invited to go by C. Colyer and Sons Truck Service and on to Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 7000 Winton Rd., 45224 for a funeral service at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the church.
