MSG Corey Keith Hood served in the U.S. Army for 14 years as a Forward Observer. Was serving as a Demonstration Parachutist for the U.S. Army Parachute Team, “Golden Knights” stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He had multiple deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq and is survived by his wife Lyndsay J. Hood (nee Cook); parents Carrie (Wayne) Mills (nee Walters) and Tom Hood; siblings Jennifer (Steve) Hunt, Kelley (Adam) Curley, Kristen Hood and Sam (Angie) Shannon Jr.; grandparents Nina (Carter Caudill) Walters, Roy T. Walters, James Mills and Carla Hood. Visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2015, at West Chester Church of the Nazarene, 7951 Tylersville Rd., West Chester Township, OH 45069 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, August 22, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Lakota West High School, 8940 Union Centre Blvd., West Chester Township, OH 45069. Private burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, 2421 Princeton Rd., Hamilton, OH 45011. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of MSG Corey Keith Hood to the Reds Community Fund or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cincinnati. Donations may also be made to Lakota Athletic Participation Fee Fund or the Boys & Girls Club of West Chester/Liberty.
