Cynthia Taylor

Cynthia Diane Gardner Taylor, age 68, of Mason, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025 after a lengthy illness. She leaves behind a beloved son, Jeremy Taylor and equally beloved sister, Vicki Gardner, and best friend, Lucy Morrison, as well as many friends and family.

She was born in Louisville, Kentucky to Orval and Amelia Gardner. She grew up in Lexington, Kentucky and graduated from Tates Creek High School. After graduation, she attended Georgetown College, in Georgetown Kentucky, where she met her best friend, Lucy Morrison. Later she met and married Phillip Taylor and they lived in several cities in Kentucky before relocating to Mason, Ohio.

Her husband, Phillip, passed away in 2002 and Cindy raised their son, Jeremy with help from her family and friends. Cindy considered her son to be her greatest accomplishment in life. Cindy loved her furry friends and had several dogs and a few cats through the years. She enjoyed buying birthday and Christmas gifts for her human and canine family members alike.

Cindy will be remembered by those who knew her as kind and generous and fun loving. She will be missed by all who knew her and admired her courage and sense of humor.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 2, 2025 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Bethany Church, 6388 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Ohio 45044. Her funeral will be held at Bethany Church on Thursday, April 3, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery to immediately follow.
