David Bedwell

David Bedwell, 65, of Mason, Ohio, was called to his heavenly Home on August 14, 2023. David was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 17, 1958, to Hubert (Sam) and Barbara (Padgett) Bedwell. 

David attended Lebanon High School and continued his education at Sinclair Community College. Professionally, he worked with his family at Kardol Quality Products. He volunteered as a valuable member of the Turtlecreek Township Fire Department. David enjoyed making beef jerky using his own special recipe, growing awesome tomatoes in his garden, and going boating on the lake with his family. He had a quick wit, an ornery sense of humor, and liked playing pranks on others. He also had a knack for fixing things and for finding deals!

David met his wife, Judy, when they worked together at Burger Chef in Lebanon, Ohio, as teenagers. They were married on June 24, 1977, were together for 46 years, and had four sons. 

David was preceded in death by his father, Hubert (Sam) Bedwell, sister, Debbie (Rick) Richardson, parents-in-law John and Deva Bodenstein, and brothers-in-law Mike (Terie) Bodenstein and Ron (Brenda) Bodenstein. 

David is survived by his mother, Barb Bedwell, wife, Judy (Bodenstein) Bedwell, sons Jason (Missy) Bedwell, Brandon (Sabrena) Bedwell, Josh (Amanda) Bedwell, and Chris (Brittany) Bedwell, brother, Mark (Nancy) Bedwell, sister, Linda (Tony) Lopez, sisters-in-law Margie (Mike) Johnson, Lois (Don) Rasnick, Jonna (Rusty) Sampson, brother-in-law Steve (Ethel) Bodenstein, 11 grandchildren: Landon, Allyson, Adalyn, Mia, Clarissa, Miles, Paige, Liam, Chloe, Alyssa, and Kara, and numerous nieces and nephews. 

The family invites you to David’s Celebration of Life service, to be held Sunday, September 3, 2:00pm at LifeChurch of West Chester, 8480 Cincinnati Columbus Rd, West Chester, Ohio 45069. Following the service, all are welcome to join us at a picnic lunch in David’s honor at Armco Park, 1223 Ohio 741, Lebanon, Ohio 45036, PAVILLION #33.
