David "Jake" Crawford

 

David Allan Crawford "Jake", 68, of Cincinnati, died on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Hospice of Blue Ash surrounded by family. He was born on July 1st, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Jesse and Jacqueline (Carnes) Crawford.

Jake was known for his smile and his love for life. He never met a stranger. You were considered lucky to have met him. Jake loved his family almost as much as his movies and name tags he collected. He enjoyed going out to eat and was an absolute pleasure to be around.

Jake is survived by his sisters Anna (the late Angelo) Fillis and Lora (the late Mike) Papadis, nieces Jackie (Mike) Tannreuther , Christa (Austin) Hinkle, Joann Fillis, Nikki (Matthew) Trent and nephews Dino (Shelly) Fillis  and Brian (Michelle) Doran, great nieces Riley Reynolds, Kendall Tannreuther,  Zoe Hinkle, Zaylee Hinkle, Kyrah Doran, Paige Doran, Brooke Doran, Elliana Fillis, great nephews Zachary Hinkle, Preston Kells, Jaxson Doran, Braden Doran, Aristedes Fillis, Kane Trent, Bennett Trent cousins and many friends.

Jake is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers-in-law, and great niece Breanna Doran

A visitation will take place Friday, September 24, 2021 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty TWP, 45044, from 11 AM until the time for service at 12 noon. A burial will take place immediately following the service at Crown Hill Memorial Park, 11825 Pippin Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
