David Carl Meier

David Carl Meier, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away peacefully and went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on January 12, 1947, David's life was rich with love, family, and adventure.

David proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Navy, an experience that greatly influenced his character and dedication to those he loved. He embraced life with vigor, enjoying activities such as golfing, swimming, traveling, and biking.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Catherine Meier; his daughter Kristin McFann and her husband Michael; his brothers Dennis Meier and wife Joyce, Davey Meier and wife Pam, and sister Dale Wamsley. David is also survived by his grandchildren, Zack Meier, Abigayle Meier, Alex George, Brayden McFann, and Jaxson McFann, as well as his great-grandchildren, Carter and Jaiden.

David was preceded in death by his son, Phillip Meier, and siblings Fred, Kathy, and Harry Meier. He will be deeply missed by his nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, including his close friends, Matt Zimmer and Doug Browne.

No funeral services to be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the Arbor Day Foundation.

David’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be remembered for his kindness, adventurous spirit, and the laughter he brought to every gathering.
