Melchior, Debra K. Maineville, passed away peacefully after a long and
courageous battle with COPD September 20, 2021, at the age of 71. She is
survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Bill Melchior, daughter Jessica,
cherished granddaughter McKenna who was the light of her life, grandson Atticus,
and beloved brother Ron Bell (Patty).
Deb will be truly missed by her family and many close friends, especially her
Princeton High School “Shipmates of ‘68” with whom she stayed in close
relationships. She was their leader, organizer, and glue for her classmates for over
the past 50 years! Deb was the CEO of the Debbinaire Way (designer of closets
and organizing one’s home), author of two books on “Organize Your Home” and
had a consignment store. Deb illustrated leveled readers for her friend who
taught first grade. Her artistic abilities not only included drawing but other talents
of cloths design and interior decorating. Deb was very gifted!
She will be especially missed by all the loved ones who took care of her during her
illness and especially missed by her loving companion and care giver, Gary
Thompson, who was constantly at her side, along with Sharon Cooley her dearest
friend. Friends and family are invited to join us for a memorial on Saturday,
October 23, 2021 at the Miami Township Civic Center 6101 Meijer Dr., Milford,
OH 45150 from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
