Delmar M. Leidel

Delmar Leidel, of West Chester, Ohio, passed away April 23, 2016

Born in Barberton, Ohio on January 31, 1929 to the late Matthew and Ethel Leidel, Delmar had been a long distance truck driver for over 50 years. He had driven for All States and P.I.E. Delmar was always active doing the Lord’s work, volunteering in various missions with his church.

Preceded in death by his wife Alberta (Heffelfinger), sister Florence Barber, brothers Nelson and Harold Leidel.  He is survived by daughter Dawn Gifford (David) and granddaughter Stacy. Brothers James and Raymond Leidel, sisters Rosemary Smith and Lucille Reid and many nieces and nephews and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Barberton Apostolic Church, 1717 Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Barberton, Ohio, on Monday, May 2, 2016, from 12 PM until time of funeral service at 1 PM.
