SHANKLIN, Demmie.  Beloved wife of the late William Shanklin.  Dear mother of William Shanklin and Betty (the late James) Forbes.  Grandmother of Heather and Dawn Shanklin and Michael (Patty) and Scott (Ann) Forbes.  Great grandmother of Austin, Brandon and Josh.  Preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of Highland Ave. Baptist Church.  Passed away Friday, March 4, 2016, at the age of 100.  Funeral services private.
