Diana Lee Rohrer (nee Martin), 75, was born on Jan. 20, 1947, in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Mary and Rodney Martin. She passed away peacefully after a short illness on Nov. 23, 2022. A graduate of Deer Park High School, class of 1965, she won a scholarship from the Dillonvale Women's Club to attend the Bethesda Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1968. She worked as a hospital nurse for many years at Bethesda Hospital, Bethesda North Hospital and Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati, and at Community Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind. She also worked at Matthew 25 Ministries, from where she retired. She married James A. Rohrer, a classmate at Deer Park, in 1969. She had varied interests, including as a belly dancing instructor in the 1970s and working in ceramics. She will be remembered by all for her sweet nature, her sense of humor and her love of the Dallas Cowboys. She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Becky) Rohrer; Chris (Cary) Rohrer; a daughter, Amy DeAnglis; her sister, Peggy Martin; her brother, Dale (Nancy) Martin; seven grandchildren, Samantha and Chris Rohrer; Savannah, Mia and Gabe Rohrer; and James and Kyle DeAnglis; by her former husband, James A. Rohrer; by nieces and a nephew; and by her dear friend from Matthew 25, Shelly Clos. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati Columbus Road, (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Mason, OH. Memorials may be made to Matthew 25 Ministries, 11060 Kenwood Road, Blue Ash, OH 45242.
