CALLAHAN, Diane L.

Beloved wife of Keith Callahan for 43 years. Loving mother of Chris Callahan and Craig (Chhoeun) Callahan. Caring grandmother of Alexander, Zachary, and Kaylee Callahan. Dear sister of Bob (Amy) Ulrich. Daughter of the late Fred and Wilma Ulrich. Aunt of Jake, Samantha, Erin, Caitlin, James, and John. Diane was an inspirational and loved middle school gifted science teacher at Speedway, Hamilton Southeastern and Lawrence school districts in Indiana, Oak Hills and Fairfield school districts in Ohio. She organized an annual summer trip to Key Largo Florida for her students which continues today. Diane was the Fairfield Teacher of the year in 2004 and the Milken National Teacher of the year in 2005. Diane passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020. Visitation will be held at Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati Dayton Rd., Liberty Twp., OH 45044, on Saturday, August 22, 2020, from 2 PM until time of Celebration of Life Service at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Heart Association or  MS Society
