Don B. Moore

MOORE, Don Bunnell, son of Don and Dasie Moore. Beloved husband of Jo Ann (nee Blakely), married for fifty-eight years. Devoted father of Blake (Suzanne) Moore, Wyoming, OH, and Lauren (Tom) Firestone, Aiken, SC. Brother of Dean (Lee) Moore, Greeley, CO, and the late Dr. Ron (Wilma) Moore, Melbourne, FL. Also survived by grandchildren Lesley and Justin Firestone, Mackenzie Moore and Allison Cekala. Don passed peacefully Monday, August 20, 2012, in the ICU at Christ Hospital at 85 years of age. Don had the gift of gab. He was a cheerleader of sorts, always supporting his family members and friends in their endeavors. He loved saddlebred horses, Big Band music, the Cincinnati Reds, and was ringmaster at Carthage and Paris, KY Cty. Fairs. He and his wife traveled extensively outside of the U.S.; Don a little reluctantly. He was a member of Hartwell Alumni Association and thoroughly enjoyed interacting with other members. A “Celebration of Life” will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Molloy’s on the Green, 10 Enfield St., Greenhills, OH 45218, from 4-7 p.m. ALL friends are invited to participate. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hartwell Alumni Association, care of Thelma Lindner, 12186 Kenn Rd., Springdale, OH 45240, or to a charity of your choice.
