Donald J. Beck

Donald “Don” Beck passed away 3/15/23.

Don was the beloved husband of Grace Beck.  Married on November 12, 1955 for 67 years, they lived a long and wonderful life together.  Don was loving Father to seven children, Dan (Beth) Beck, Terri (Sean) Overbeck, Tim (Elaine) Beck, Rick Beck (deceased), Cate (Mike) Steele, Donald (Cindy) Beck, and Andy Beck. In addition, he has fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

Don was born on May 22, 1931 to the late Bernard and Susan Beck and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio.  He was one of five boys, Jim (deceased), Bob, Tom (deceased) and Joe.  Don graduated from Roger Bacon High School and received a Bachelor’s and Masters’ Degree from Xavier University. 

Don was a devout Catholic and most recently a parishioner of St. Gabriel’s in Glendale.  After serving in the U.S. Army, Don had a long and successful career with Kroger Co. (30+ years).

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 23, 2023 at St. Gabriel’s Catholic Church, 48 West Sharon Road, Glendale, OH 45246 from 11:00 until Mass of Eternal Rest at 12:00 noon.  Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
