Stroppel, Donald C. beloved husband of the late Marilyn Stroppel (nee Jorgenson). Loving father of Dona (Michael) Johnson, Holly McSwain and the late Charles Stroppel. Grandfather of Brandon (Jacqueline) McSwain, Lauren (Anthony) Hammonds, Andrew (Carly) McSwain, Jordann (Dustin) McSwain, Dana Johnson and Candace Johnson. Great grandfather of Kadin Hammonds, Aaliyah Hammonds, Cohen McSwain and Bijou McSwain. Also survived by special friend Betty Pease and her son Allen Pease. Preceded in death by his sisters Doris Williams and Betty Gilland. Passed away Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at the age of 86. Visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Hodapp Funeral Home, 8815 Cincinnati-Columbus Rd., (Rt. 42) West Chester, OH 45069 from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the National Alliance of Mental Illness Cincinnati Chapter.
