Donald E. “Whitey” beloved husband for 54 years to Carol A. Rutz (nee Bernecker) proud and loving father of Barbara, Don Jr. (Tami), Karen, Ken, Gary (Sheila) Rutz and Linda (Dave) Deters, dear grandpa of Emily, Kelly, Stephanie, Kari, Chris, Megan, Maddie, Matthew, David, and Jack and great grandpa of Blake and Connor. Beloved brother to Mel Rutz, Marion Findley, Carol Stigler and the late Bo Rutz. Don was a Veteran of the Korean War, member of the V.F.W. and retired from UPS after 30 years. Friday, November 4, 2011 age 79. Visitation at Hodapp Funeral Home 6041 Hamilton Ave, 45224. Tuesday 5-8pm. Funeral Service at St. Margaret Mary 1830 W. Galbraith Rd, NCH Wednesday at 10am. In lieu of flowers donations to Kindervelt #16 of Cincinnati Children’s or Neediest Kids of All.
